They Just Don't Get It, The Voters Will Decide

John Edwards endorsed Obama tonite.  Wow, what courage!  What a risk he took tonite!  I actually had a great deal of respect for him during this Presidential race.  I lost it tonite.  What people like Edwards and the media don't seem to understand is that the people want to vote.  People want to decide who their Presidential Candidate will be they don't want others telling them what to do, especially people who didn't have the courage to take a stand in their own home state.  Edward went to Disneyland when they were voting in North Carolina, when did he get back?   I think he spent a little too much time with Goofy!

This race will run its course.  People like Edwards are doing more to divide this party than anyone else.  The only chance of this party coming together it letting people vote.  You try and force Obama on this party and it will not be pretty come November.

But more is required. Mrs. Clinton's supporters are not bound by her decision as to Mr. Obama. For many, their decision is Anyone but Obama. They don't trust Mr. Obama, his connections, his acceptance of base and demeaning attacks. A VP perhaps, but only perhaps, for him.

What Mr. McGovern recommened in his NYTimes recent opinion would have been welcome three months ago. Now it looks just like one more trick.

John Edwards is a lightweight, opportunistic politician not liked very much in North Carolina. His endorsement means nothing and was a political ploy to draw attention from the fact that Hillary devastated Obama in West Virginia. Yes..Obama will probably be the Democratic candidate. Yes..Hillary will be a good soldier and try to unite the party. Thank you Hillary for being the courageous person that you are, but we must ignore your advice. We will vote for John McCain in November.
